EMU AAUP Reminds Members There is NO Injunction

Dear Union Siblings:

We have heard from some of you that administration is using misinformation and smear tactics to undermine our union. Specifically, we have heard that administrators are checking classes and stating that they are seeing who is "complying with the injunction."

There is no injunction at this point. EMU has filed a motion for one in Circuit Court, and our attorneys have responded. Unless and until the Court rules on EMU's motion, there is no court order requiring you to work. There is currently no hearing scheduled, but we will update you as the process plays out. If we get such an order, our team will confer with our attorneys and proceed accordingly.
