At least that is the conclusion that Democrats and labor leaders have reached in the wake of Gov. Rick Snyder’s latest brain child i.e. the “Dollars and Sense” document designed to explain, in plain English, the state of Michigan’s spending mess.

“Average State Employee Compensation is Twice Average Private Sector Worker, 2009” was the eye-grabbing headline that immediately caught the attention of the news media.
